Bond Street

Asbury Park is my 20s. It’s live music on the summer stage. It’s Smooch the Group playing Friends in Love. It’s still riding the high of All Time Low. It’s the guy we almost fought at Bond Street. It’s the cute barista at Cafe Volan. It’s toilet paper on the paper towel rack because someone forgot to go to CVS. It’s Justin and Sara and Heather in bloom. It’s being so in love with your friends that you could smooch them. It’s spelling confusion with a K, and it’s admitting we’re all a little bit confused. It’s the people you meet for a night. It’s the ones you hope you’ll see again. It’s the Stone Pony, and it’s the memories that prove we were happy all along.
